WHD 2010 - Pakistan Success Story

This year in Pakistan, Hepatitis day 2010 campaign was organized by BRN Communications, sponsored by Roche Pakistan Limited, supported by I Own Karachi - City District Govt Karachi & Bank AlFalah. Our TV Partner was Dawn News TV and the Radio Partner was FM 91. It was a nationwide campaign, in which Electronic, Outdoor and print media participated very actively. Detailed information on the issue was provided to the general public through Twelve TV & Two Radio talk shows. 15 Key opinion leaders participated in our TV and Radio talk shows. Informative fliers were distributed among people via various different mediums. Prominent Outdoor media were used for maximum awareness. Government officials/policy makers were also involved in this campaign to make it more effective. People from every walk of life such as school kids, healthcare professionals and workers, youth organizations & NGOs participated in the campaign. This campaign gained special attention from local media and more than 60 news were published in English and Urdu newspapers. To create awareness articles were also published in leading newspapers. Discussion forums were also conducted with Pakistan's largest newspaper Daily Jang.
